The Black Bow is a one-of-a-kind weapon in Elden Ring; it's a standard bow, but it has the special ability to use the Barrage Ash of War. If you have the stats to equip it, it's also incredibly powerful, lightweight, and versatile.
It takes some time and effort to obtain the Black Bow, and bows aren't endgame DPS monsters, but they have their uses in PvP and can be useful for picking off individual adversaries in PvE.
A Position for a Black Bow
Leyndell, the Royal Capital, is where you'll find the Black Bow. To obtain it, you must first battle two shard-bearing demigods (Godrick and Renalla are good options), then travel to the Altus Plateau, defeat the Draconic Tree Sentinel Boss, and then enter the city.
When you get to the bottom of the walls, you'll be on the main street. The name "Avenue Balcony" describes the location of the nearest Site of Grace.
Defeat or avoid the Erdtree Avatar miniboss and head west until you reach a tiny area with a fountain in the center.
A Crucible Knight can be found in a hall off to the right of the square. It's best to avoid that route. As an alternative, you can go down the elevator right next to it. To reach the next section, you must first leave this door and climb onto the roofs to the right with Elden Ring items for sale.
There are a few holes to leap over, but the Black Bow will be seen on your right as soon as you reach the end of the maze.
Side-effects and Skillsets of the Black Bow
The Barrage Ash of War is compatible with the Black Bow, but no other ordinary bow. Additionally, it can only be improved using Somber Smithing Stones and cannot receive any additional Ashes of War.
Although the Black Bow's Barrage does more damage than that of a light bow, it weighs twice as much as other bows. This bow is much more difficult to use than others because it demands 20 Dexterity just to use it.
To find the Black Bow in Elden Ring and learn how to use it, you now have all the information you need. As a harassment tool in PvP, its availability in the mid-game belies its efficacy at any time. In particular, it benefits high-Dexterity builds that don't have access to a reliable long-range weapon.
