It has been rumored that FIFA 23 was playable on Xbox for a short period of time before its official release, and this has led to a slew of leaks. The FIFA 23 soundtrack (including musicians like M.I.A., Odesza, Bad Bunny, and more) has been leaked, as have several teams' unannounced alternate uniforms.
Most players are interested in information related to FIFA Ultimate Team. Players' ratings for various teams in the English Premier League have been leaked(opens in new tab). In preparation for the official release of FIFA 23 next month, FUT gamers are understandably rushing to assemble the best possible squad with least FIFA 23 coins.
This time around, Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo's superstar forward has been severely nerfed (opens in new tab). Since he is now 37 years old, Ronaldo's pace has dropped from 87 to 81, and his overall rating has dropped from 91 to 90. Although he's still a high-priced FUT target, his value may be lower this year than in years before.
The season after Ronaldo moved from Juventus (of Italy's Serie A league) to Manchester United (of the Premier League), he scored 18 goals in 30 games, down from 29 and 31 goals, respectively, in the previous two seasons.
The Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 will feature Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe and Australian Women's National Team captain Sam Kerr on the cover. Mbappe appears to have identical ratings to FIFA 22, at least. He'll be featured on the cover of the base version of FIFA 23 and maintain his current ranking of 91, despite being somewhat faster, passing less, and defending more effectively. Of course, the actual question is, "When do we get to construct a FUT with women's footy stars?"
FIFA 23 will be available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 27.
